Add or Subtract Days from a Date
To add or subtract days from a date, enter your start date, type the number of days, and choose add or subtract. TimeSpanCalc returns the exact resulting date, counting calendar days and handling month lengths and leap years automatically.
How it works
This calculator uses LAND mode: date ± duration = date. Enter your start date in field A, type the number of days (or other units) in the duration field, and tap add (+) or subtract (−). The result is a calendar date.
You can offset by days, weeks, months, or years — tap the unit button next to the number field to switch. The result always lands on a real calendar date, even when crossing months with different lengths or a leap day in February.
The full weekday name (for example, "Wednesday") appears beneath the result so you can see at a glance which day of the week it falls on.
What date is N days from today
The most common use is starting from today and adding a number of days to find a future deadline. Set the start date to today, enter the number, and tap add.
For 30 days from today: set the start to today, enter 30, and tap add. This is the standard for net-30 invoice terms and many return windows.
For 60 days from today: enter 60 instead. Common for net-60 payment terms and probationary review periods.
For 90 days from today: enter 90. A 90-day window is widely used for invoice terms, product return policies, legal filing deadlines, and notice periods.
To find a past date, switch to subtract (−). Enter today and subtract N days to see what date was N days ago.
Common uses
Payment and invoice due dates — net-30, net-60, and net-90 terms measured from an invoice date.
Return and warranty windows — find the last day to return a product or file a warranty claim.
Project and notice-period deadlines — add the notice length to the start date to find the final day.
Subscription or trial end dates — enter the sign-up date and add the trial length to see when it expires.
Finding a past date — subtract days from an event date to determine when something started.
